
ZTE has launched its latest smartphone in China, the ZTE Axon 50 Standard Edition.
The ZTE Axon 50 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 2400×1080 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and TÜV low blue light certification.
The display has a 72.5-degree curved edge.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno 730 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
For optics, it boasts a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter wth macro support, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Connectivity features include dual-frequency L1+L5 GNSS positioning with support for BeiDou’s third-gen augmentation system, 13 antennas, and an IR blaster.
It runs on MyOS 12 for OS with support for customizable widgets, dynamic lock screens that change based on user activity, and themed visuals.
The phone’s back panel is made of Starlight AG glass for enhanced durability.
The ZTE Axon 50 is priced at CNY 1,799 (~PHP 13,929) and is currently available for purchase on JD.com.
