
Apart from the vivo X Fold 5, the brand has officially launched the vivo Watch 5 in China.
The Watch 5 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 resolution, 1500 nits peak brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate.
Health features include continuous heart rate and SpOâ‚‚ monitoring, sleep tracking, stress detection, menstrual tracking, and arrhythmia alerts. It also offers a 30-second blood pressure risk screening. Data can be shared through the vivo Health app.
For workouts, the Watch 5 supports over 100 exercise modes, with added motion tracking for sports like tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It also offers AI-guided running plans and fitness coaching.
Battery life can last up to 22 days in Bluetooth-only mode, 14 days in eSIM dual-device mode, and 7 days in eSIM standalone mode. Charging takes around two hours via a magnetic charger.
Out of the box, the smartwatch runs on vivo’s BlueOS, and the Watch 5 supports Android and iOS devices.
It allows dual connection between a vivo phone and an iPhone, and the eSIM variant can handle calls, texts, and WeChat without needing a phone.
The vivo Watch 5 is now available in China, and it comes in two variants, the Bluetooth-only and eSIM-enabled, priced at CNY799 (approx. PHP 6,299) and CNY999 (approx. PHP7,899), respectively. Meanwhile the eSIM version with stainless steel strap is priced at CNY1,199 (approx. PHP+9,499).
