
HONOR has officially launched the Magic V5 foldable smartphone in China.
The Magic V5 comes with a 7.95-inch inner OLED screen (2352 × 2172 resolution) and a 6.43-inch outer OLED screen (2376 × 1060 resolution).
Both displays support LTPO 120Hz refresh rate, 10.7 billion colors, and can reach up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. The outer screen is protected by the latest Giant Rhinoceros glass.
At the back, it features a triple camera setup: a 50MP wide camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. Both the inner and outer selfie cameras are 20MP and support 4K video recording.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with an Adreno 830 GPU. It comes in three variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a top model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
As for the battery, the standard version includes a 5820mAh battery, while the 1TB model gets a larger 6100mAh battery.
It supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
The Magic V5 runs on MagicOS 9.0.1, based on Android 15.
In China, the HONOR Magic V5 is priced at CNY 8,999 (around PHP 76,199) for the 12GB + 256GB model, CNY 9,999 (around PHP 84,599) for the 16GB + 512GB version, and CNY 10,999 (around PHP 92,999) for the 16GB + 1TB variant.
