A few weeks ago, the Black Shark gaming phone was spotted in Geekbench. According to the benchmark, the phone will contain Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor. Today, the company itself has officially confirmed this information.
An official poster was released by the company where it stated that the upcoming gaming smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 845 SoC. Black Shark mentioned that this was done in order to give a smoother gaming experience to its users. Prior to this, the company also stated that the handset will contain “Shark Space” which is similar to the Game Center feature.
Previous leaks of the Black Shark gaming smartphone have revealed that the device will feature a Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone will also contain an internal storage of 32 GB but it might come in other variations like 64GB and 128GB. The handset will run on Android 8.0 along with 8GB of RAM.
Seeing as Black Shark has already revealed some of the phone’s specs as well as formed partnerships, it is safe to say that the phone’s launch may happen sooner than we think.
